about a Farrand Cecilian piano.

The "10th edition of the Pierce Piano Atlas" says:

  Farrand, Est. 1883, see Cecilian, made in Holland, Mich.  There
  are Farrand grands; for other grands and uprights see Cecilian.

  Started in 1883 as Detroit Organ Company.  Then C. J. Whitney &
  E. S. Votey bought the Detroit Organ Co. in 1887 and changed the
  name to Farrand & Votey.  In 1897 the name changed to Farrand Co.

Your serial number 34163 would have been manufactured in 1923.
1923 started with number 33000 and 1924 started with 35000.

The "Presto Buyers' Guide 1926" says:

  Farrand Piano Co.  These pianos and player-pianos are the products
  of the Farrand Piano Co. of Holland Michigan, and they held a high
  position for their recognized musical quality merit and durability
  of construction, insuring the life of the even, singing tone for
  which they are noted. These famous instruments are recognized as
  being of the highest grade and possessing the finest tonal
  qualities.  The manufacturers of the Farrand piano and Farrand
  Cecilian (Licensee) Player-pianos are considered among the country's
  experts in their line, and backed by ample resources have been able
  to produce and maintain a degree of quality that offers the fullest
  measure of value to the buyer. The name of "Farrand" has been
  distinguished in the world of musical instrument manufactures for a
  half century and the Farrand Piano and Farrand-Cecilian Player-Piano
  are worthy of the favor which the name suggests to piano buyers.
  With the Farrand Grand which has most Beautiful tones, redundant
  in power and of exquisite timber, and with the Farrand Reproducing
  Grands and uprights, the company has a complete line of splendid
  instruments.
