Seek Tubing Diagram for 1918 Duo-Art Grand
By Chuck Russell

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I am a 70-year-young retired Army veteran attempting to restore a 1918
Aeolian Duo-Art baby grand piano for my daughter. The only diagrams of
Duo-art tubing I have been able to locate relate to pianos built from
1925 on, and they do not cover the tubing for a 1918 model,
particularly the tubes connecting the control devices.

I am not involved in any business related to this subject. This
is strictly a hobby which keeps me out of the street. Hopefully, if
I can successfully complete this piano restoration, my daughter will be
convinced that her dad is a hero. I would appreciate any help I can
get. I'm not familiar with your organization and how you function in
this regard. I will, however, make a donation to your cause if, as a
result of this communication, your organization can somehow help me
solve my problem.

Incidentally, I have all the documents that are available from Player
Piano Co. in Wichita, Kansas. I thank you for your time, and in
advance I will thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
Chuck Russell, USMA class of 1956 (West Point)
