Blower For Voicing Organ Pipes
By Jim Quashnock

Paul, Having a fairly compete wood working shop, I approached this
air requirement in a different way. I have a compressor with a HVLP
adapter. I simply fitted the side of the pressure box on my JSmith
Busker with a quick disconnect and ran the compressor to it adjusted
to a little over 6" water column pressure

This gave me a very stable pressure and allowed all voicing of the
pipes to be done playing through the tracker bar, tubing, and paper
roll without having to have someone else turn the crank, and still
utilizing the organ's bellows and regulator. Worked great and the
instrument sounds wonderful.

Just about any blower would work, however, as long as you can maintain
the final running pressure for your instrument.
