Sound Restoration Software For Macintosh
By Christian Greinacher

In MMD 030116 Tony Dellaway asked for "some suitable sound restoration
software for the Macintosh that does not cost megabucks".

The best solution for amateur application (and much more!) I know
about is "Amadeus". I have been using "Amadeus" for many years and
I can tell you that, concerning functionality, reliability, support,
continuous upgrades and price, this software is really great!

The author of "Amadeus" is

  Martin Hairer
  19, ch. des Cypres
  CH-1226 Thonex
  Switzerland

and you can get this software for 25 US$. The easiest way is to
download "Amadeus" from http://www.hairersoft.com/Amadeus.html
Then test it and pay the 25 bucks on-line.
