Cost to Rebuild Antique Electric Motor

Major "Sticker shock!"

I would certainly speak to Ken at Bradford Electric and ask why the
high price.  For that kind of money they would have had to rewind the
motor and make a specialty bushing and probably rebuild the starter
switch too.

Only one of those last two items can kick up the price, but rewinding
a motor is something we don't even want to think about paying for.
It is unfortunate that there is no modern replacement for reproducing
piano motors.
