Piano Moving Story
By Mike Ryan

Greetings -- The postings on moving pianos reminds me of the time
I was out walking and spotted an upright player piano stuck midway in
some fellow's front door. He was standing on his front lawn looking
at it dejectedly. When he saw me, he said "Could you take a moment
to help me move my piano?"

"Of course," I said, and took my position at the treble end of the
piano on the front porch. He clumsily climbed over the piano and
situated himself at the bass end. At his count of three we began.
Grunting, groaning, straining, swearing, both of us struggling with
all our might.

After several minutes he gasped "Enough," and we both collapsed
exhausted. When he regained his breath, he said "It's no use.
We'll never get this piano outside!"

I said, "Outside?"

Regards--
