The Southern California AMICA chapter is having an organ rally this
weekend, April 26-27, 2003, at the Descanso Gardens in La Canada
Flintridge, California.  Organs will be playing Saturday from 10 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday till 4 p.m.

The Descanso Gardens are famous for their camellias and have many other
plantings, a lake and miniature train.  The gardens are located just
off the 210 freeway at the Hwy 2 "Angeles Crest" exit.  I did not check
all the directions but there are some small direction signs.  I did not
see the sign at Foothill but you turn right at that corner then get into
the left lanes to turn left on Verdugo.

There is a fee to enter the gardens.  Adults $6, Seniors over 62 and
Students with ID $4, Children 5-12 $1.50, under 5 free.  (It's worth
it just to see the organs.)
