Seek Pedal Magnets for Telektra Piano Player
By John Kadlec

Hello all. I am restoring a Telektra 88-note piano player system.
This is comprised of a reader unit and electromagnet stack unit.
Additionally there are two operators for the sustaining and soft pedals
which I am missing.

These operators were either large rotary armature magnets or solenoids,
depending on the vintage of the unit. Frequently, when the Telektra or
Telelectric system was removed from the piano, the pedal magnets were
forgotten and left behind.

I appeal to all the piano technicians who have restored many vertical
pianos. They may have noticed these magnets or solenoids in the bottom
of the piano and set them aside as spare parts. Any and all help would
be appreciated.

Best Regards,
