The 4th edition of the International Festival of Mechanical Music
in Iasi, Romania, will take place during 19-21 September 2003.
The programme of the event:

Friday, 19 September 2003 :

11:00: The official opening of the Festival of Mechanical Music,
the 4th edition (Henri Coanda Hall, Palace of Culture)

11:30: Opening of the exhibition "Mechanical Music - Education
and Entertainment" - Concerto of mechanical music carried out by
the guests of the festival

15:00: Symposium: History of the Mechanical Music and Problems of
the Restoration-Conservation of Music Automata (Henri Coanda Hall)

19:00 - 23:00: Musical cafe "Nostalgias of Iasi.."

Saturday, 20 September 2003 :

10:00 - 15:00: Exhibition: Mechanical Music - Education and
Entertainment Interactive visits for the public of any age

11:00 - 13:00; 15:00-19:00: Street show: organ grinders playing
on Stefan cel Mare Street up to the National Theatre; Animation:
Epoch Costume Parade, fanfare, danse, old music, marionettes,
street singers, etc.

Sunday, 21 September 2003 :

8:00 - 22:00: Thematic trip: street singers concertizing
in several locations in Moldavia.

The festival is organised by the "Stefan Procopiu" Science and
Technique Museum in Iasi, Romania, a unit of the "Moldova" national
museum complex housed in the Palace of Culture.
