Band Organs at Knoebels Amusement Resort
By Michael McNamara

Does anyone know what other band organs Knoebels Amusement Resort owns?
When I visited in May they were using a Wurlitzer 165, Wurlitzer 150,
Frati, large Bruder (a.k.a. The Berni), and a small Bruder.

I have heard that the park has other organs that are stored somewhere
and used for special occasions. Also, on the NCA's carousel census,
the kiddie carousels entry says "Wurlitzer 146 and Dekleist Barrel
Organ in Park." When I was there the Kiddie Carousel had a Wurlitzer
150 providing the music! If they do own a Wurlitzer 146, is it an A
or B Model? The band organs at Knoebels all sounded excellent and
David Wynn must be complimented for taking such great care of the
organs.
