I have a problem.  I have used leather on a vacuum electric pump.
This particular leather is shiny on the outside and leaks like
a sieve.  I have tried to seal it with silicone [adhesive] but it
doesn't stick or seal.  Does anyone know what to do, outside of
replacing the leather?
