In response to Philippe Rouille's post of 8-31-03, the movie was,
in fact, made.  The making of the movie was the focus of a chapter in
a book by Alfred Chapuis, entitled "Automates, Machines, Automatiques
et Machines".

The book was published in 1928 in Geneva, Switzerland, by S.A. Des
Publications Techniques.  I doubt that more than a few hundred copies
were printed and only a few survive today.  I possess a copy and if
Mr. Rouille needs a copy he can contact me directly.
