Seek Patent Number of Leabarjan Perforator
By Walter Tenten

Several contributions to this digest have reported on the services
of the US Patent Office at http://www.uspto.gov/ . The task of
finding patent numbers, necessary for all patents issued prior to
1976, is sometimes a very tough one.

Actually I am looking for the patent number of the Leabarjan note roll
perforator. If someone owns such a perforator, the number should be
easily identified on some label.

By the way, Jody and Robbie, building up a "database" of patent numbers
related to mechanical music would mean a nice enhancement of the MMD
archive! To start with it, I can supply the number 1,427,336 that
stands for "Machine for Making Perforated Music Rolls", also known as
as the Star perforator. I found this information on the personal web
site of Roy Barns, http://mywebpages.comcast.net/royb1/

Many thanks, Roy!

Greetings from Germany, where autumn slowly starts its job.

[ A good idea, Walter. I will place a page to present patent
[ data at the MMD Tech site, http://mmd.foxtail.com/Tech/
