These two volumes, which were also available in hardback, could be
regarded as the precursor to the more familiar "Encyclopedia of
Automatic Musical Instruments" by Q. David Bowers. If memory serves
me correctly they were published in the mid to late 'sixties and were
imported into UK by the late Leslie Brown of Stockton-on-Tees.
