MMDigest Publication Problems
By Matthew Caulfield

Robbie remarked at the top of 030919 MMDigest:

> Several subscribers wrote to ask, "What happened to MMD?"
> MMDigest was not transmitted during the previous week while
> I was vacationing. I am working now to catch up!

Please do not vacation.

> I received unusually few emails during the period 19 Sept.
> through 24 Sept., although messages from subscribers, sent to
> <rolls@foxtail.com>, arrived okay. I've asked Jody to investigate.

I think that messages to MMD are generated by ideas read in MMDigests.
When no digests are received, no messages are returned. Again the
solution is "no vacationing!"

[ Jody wasn't able to edit MMD while I was away, and when he wasn't
[ looking the computer ran out of disk storage space for the 3000(!)
[ emails, mostly junk, that arrived for me and MMDigest. So he moved
[ my email storage directory (1 gigabyte) to another disk drive and
[ today I retrieved the missing messages. That's why MMDigest 030927
[ has messages from several days earlier.
 [
[ "No vacationing?" My wife won't agree with that suggestion! ;-)
