Converting T-98 Welte to Play T-100 "Red" Rolls
By Grahame Code

A friend of ours has an upright Bechstein with a "Green" Welte player
and wishes to change the instrument so that it will play both Green-
and Red Welte rolls. I know that this has been done in a few pianos
in the past and we seek technical suggestions and also contacts to beg,
borrow, or buy the necessary drawings. Our friend has a good library
of both Green and Red Welte rolls and is keen to undertake the
restoration. He is a skilled restorer.

As well as the Bechstein, he has numerous Red Welte parts including
the tracker bar and, I think, some of the expression units.
