Adding Expression Codes to 88-note Piano Rolls
By Spencer Chase

Greetings, I have written a couple of simple programs to convert
88-note rolls and standard MIDI files so that they can play on the
Welte or Duo-Art, with proper pedaling and fixed loudness. These
are simple programs that do not automatically add expression codes.

I would like to extend these programs to create files which will
facilitate the addition of expression coding. I have a few ideas
in mind but do not have experience with expression editing and would
like to exchange ideas with people who do have this sort of knowledge.
The goal is to be able to make new reproducing performances with the
aid of the computer.

If anyone is also interested in this topic, please contact me.

Best regards,
