Ragtimer Johnny Maddox

Does anyone know anything about Johnny Maddox?  I received an album
of his for my birthday.  It is a recording of piano rolls.  Apparently
a lot of albums were recorded in the 1960s of piano rolls.  The album
shows the bottom of an A-roll piano on the cover.
