Seek Rolls for Aeolian 20-note Organette
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Last week I successfully completed the rebuilding of an
Aeolian 20-note organette for a customer in Red Bank, NJ. Thanks
to some help from Craig Brougher, the unit pays flawlessly.

The owner, who prefers to remain anonymous, has 15-20 rolls that are
deteriorating fairly rapidly, and before they are beyond help, he would
like to have all of them recut. The rolls are 5-1/2" wide and contain
four songs per roll.

If anyone is interested in the project of recutting the rolls, please
contact me via email at: john@player-care.com or call me at
1-800-870-8784. Basically speaking, cost is no object, but time is
of the essence.

By the way, I learned quite a bit about what really makes the
instrument work, and work well. So, if you're having a problem getting
one to operate correctly, I'd be happy to share what I have learned.
Also, during the rebuilding process, I took numerous pictures and even
recorded the four songs that were on the roll that came with the unit.
If you're interested, send me a check for $11.50 (US$ only) and I'll
burn a copy and send it to you. My mailing address is:

Thank you.

Musically,
