Materials for Repairing Music Rolls
By Bryan Cather

Source of Archival Quality Paper Repair Supplies

In reference to archival-quality roll repair supplies, in the USA
I'd say to look into a company called "Gaylord Bros." They have
a comprehensive catalog of archival supplies including, but by no means
limited to, various archival tapes. Additionally, they have such items
of interest as acid-free disc record sleeves, archival-quality cylinder
record boxes, and they will custom-make boxes as well. (I once looked
into having them make archival roll storage boxes; the price was way
beyond my range.) Of course, they also carry the usual array of
archival framing, bookbinding, storage and general preservation
supplies.

I don't have an address handy for them, but a search of the World Wide
Web should turn them up. Barring this, a trip to the local library
should prove fruitful, since they are also one of the major suppliers
in the U.S. of library furniture and supplies. Simply ask the head
librarian if (s)he can give you their address.

Best regards from Texas
