Hi all,  okay, we know now where the [Duo-Art] split should be and
that it should of course be in that correct place.  It was mentioned
earlier that the piano will not work and not perform some pieces of
music correctly if the split is out by one.  I don't think many if
anyone would actually notice if a single note or 2 are not played at
the correct intensity.

Aeolian must have thought so, too, because they installed a transposing
tracker bar or separate switch bar on many instruments, which keeps the
expression and control holes constant but everything else transposes.
This makes the split completely wrong, depending on the transposing
setting.  Why would they have done this if the piano can't play music
properly when the split is wrong?  If it were intended for non Duo-Art
rolls only, then why did they make it so elaborate and keep the
expression holes constant?
