Connorized "U-Play" Piano Roll
By Bob Stewart

Today I was going through a bunch of old rolls and found a type I had
never seen before. It was a Connorized 88-note roll made in New York,
copyrighted 1923. It is number 11009.

What makes it different is it is in the "U-Play" series. There are
printed directions on the roll, in addition to the words, for where
to hold your fingers for a banjo, mandolin, ukulele, etc.

The title of the roll is "You Said Something When You Said 'Dixie'".
The label shows a picture of both a banjo and a ukulele. Does anybody
have information on this series of rolls? Is it rare?
