Universal Player Piano Music Roll Motor
By Bill Maguire

I had a customer who owned a 10-year-old Story & Clark Universal
player piano. The rolls on their piano also would not advance.

Not being sure what the cause of the trouble was, I called Story
& Clark in Seneca, Pennsylvania. The technician there was very
friendly and helpful. He told me that there was a 90% chance the
cause was a bad gear or motor and 10% chance it was the circuit board.
He recommended I buy the motor and gear box for $80. I could return
the motor for a full refund should the cause lie elsewhere.

I installed the new motor and it was the solution. The technicians
at Story & Clark were always there when I called and also helped me
out on two other occasions.

[ as you do, that he's really friendly and helpful. -- Robbie
