Hello Folks,  I have been offered an Western Electric "Derby"
nickelodeon from an older gentleman and I am curious as to what it's
value might be today.  It is all original and still in operating
condition, as it was restored about 30 years ago.

I haven't been able to find any recent values.  The only references
I have seen have been the Kovels web site which listed a Seeburg
"Greyhound" nickelodeon selling for $24K way back in 1997.  I know
that a Derby was selling unrestored back in 1978 for $8K at the
American International Galleries in California.

I just don't want to overpay for something that I may not be able
to get my money back on, should the need arise.
