John Phillips Recovering At Home
By John Phillips

Dear MMD. This is hardly a mechanical music matter, but I did get
supportive emails from many of you following my recent heart attack.
As I was effectively unconscious in intensive care for nearly two weeks
I didn't respond to these directly, although my children may have.

I came home the day before yesterday, a little over six weeks since
my trip into Emergency to check up on my "indigestion". At the moment
I am in the frustrating position of having two working players in our
lounge room but knowing that my entire roll collection is downstairs
and I am not allowed to use the spiral staircase to get at the rolls.

At least I am able to feel frustrated, which I gather looked pretty
doubtful for a long time. We'll see what the future holds.

Thank you, MMD, for your support.
