I'm looking at a Motor Player Corporation motor out of an old Holland
upright player with an "Electora Reproducer" inside.  I took the top off
the motor and found a very dirty filter under which I found what looks
like sand, yet it has the consistency of finely ground wood particles.
Could this be insulation of some kind?  Thanks for the help!
