New 31er Music Roll by Ian Alderman
By Tom Griffith

Greetings Grinders, I have just acquired Ian Alderman's brand-new
31er Street Organ roll No. 1292, titled: "American Jazz Piano by Abe
Holzman", and want you to know if you have a 31er organ this roll is
a "must have".

Those of you that have read my articles published in the "Carousel
Organ" reviewing small organ recordings know I believe Ian is
unarguably the most talented arranger of music for small organs
alive today. Very simply, his arrangements go far beyond, musically
speaking, what is otherwise available today; and, this roll only
reinforces that fact.

The roll has three "Rag" pieces: "Blaze Away", "Flying Arrow" and
"Bunch o' Blackberries", and each is an exciting example of Ian's
unique ability. Don't start the upcoming season without it; because,
if you do, and hear someone else playing it, you will be sorry you
don't have it. Hal O'Rourke <hal@halor.com> is Ian's representative
in the United States and I am sure he will be glad to help you with
your purchase.
