Chickering Duo-Art Grand
By Travis Martin

I'm somewhat new to the hobby; someone please set me straight. There
is a piano on eBay auction that purports to be a very late model
Chickering Duo-Art.

I'd never heard of such a thing. Looking at the pictures of the
drawer, I took it to be an Ampico B. I have a 1930 similar sized
Chickering with the B and am quite familiar with it. See
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3705938193

But looking at the underside pictures, it isn't remotely similar to my
Ampico B; I see what looks like Duo-Art components from pictures I've
seen (I've never had a Duo-Art). What gives here?
