Jessica W wrote asking the age of her piano which had a serial number
#15465.  Several MMD responses noted that serial number reflected the
piano being built in 1900.  My 10th Edition Pierce Piano Atlas shows
for the Kurtzmann Pianos: 1900 - 13,000, 1901 - 17,000.

Doesn't his indicate the piano was manufactured in 1901, with the
serial numbers being the last number produced in that year?  Or am
I reading the numbers incorrectly?
