27" Regina Changer Start-Stop Mechanism
By Alan Erb

I am working on a 27" Regina changer which has lost its original coin
mechanism. I have the brass follower links that ride on the lower
"lifter" spring barrel "cams", as well as the on-off link which rides
on the upper spring barrel (disc rotate spring).

I believe the upper barrel is triggered to go, when the disc comes
to play position, by the follower on the lower spring which is spring
loaded to drop into a detent. Are these coupled by a small pin in
a slot?

My question is, what is the mechanism which returns the little pall
to its detent in the upper spring, stopping the disc, and allowing its
return to the bottom.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this.
