Ed Gloeggler asked about a roll frame he has.  I'm not certain, but
it sure looks a lot like the roll frame in a calliope that was made
by Bob Stanoszek back in the early 1980's.  The one I had used rubber
O-rings, not tubing, to drive the take-up spool.
