To my helpful friends at MMD -- I got a PianoLodeon at an auction.
It is a child's upright player piano made by J. Chein of Burlington,
New Jersey.  The case measures 22" wide by 21" high and it plays
a 6-3/4" roll, of which I have five.

It appears to work on the principle of vacuum and atmospheric
pressure, much like a real player, to tap a series of tuned rods
mounted on the back wall.  Some of the hammers don't operate,
others stay extended all the time, some are weak, just like some
of its big brothers!

I've not attempted to disassemble and troubleshoot it yet.  I'd
appreciate any information from someone with some repair experience
on this toy.  Thank you very much.
