Greetings,  As many who are planning on attending the AMICA Annual
Convention in Denver already know, there will be a fine Steinway
Duo-Art on display.  It is one of the few full concert grands built
by Aeolian for demonstration purposes.

Dick Kroeckel, who owns this fine instrument, has permitted me to
use it for my workshop on electronic preservation and performance of
reproducing piano rolls.  I will be using my E-Roll Player system to
play electronic files from a notebook computer.  A custom-built device
(for demonstration purposes only) will interface the E-Roll Player
to the tracker bar.

This should be an excellent demonstration of the merger of old and
new technology. I am very pleased that Dick has agreed to the use of
his instrument.
