Ken Rosen's Organ-matic Magic Organ Player
By Maggie Richardson

Today I had the pleasure of seeing and listening to the piano roll
playing Wurlitzer pipe organ put together by Ken Rosen [040525
MMDigest, Organ-matic Magic Organ Player Plays Pipe Organ].

The experience was a delight; the instrument quite marvelous. Ken
explained his machine and then played a number of 88-note piano rolls
I had brought. Every roll sounded wonderful; Rudy Martin's "pop"
version of "Ode to Joy" (terrible on my player) came roaring from
the organ as if Beethoven himself were at the console. The QRS (old
version) piano roll "Stars and Stripes Forever", played with the help
of Ken manning the levers/stops, will forever be remembered.

If you "roll and old time music fans" have not emailed Ken for a copy
of the CD he is recording, don't delay -- you are in for an exceptional
treat!
