I am just old-fashioned? Very often people contact me for help of
one kind or another; usually needing restoration supplies. My first
question back is always, "Where in the world are you?"

On being told invariably that "I am in US", I give them email
addresses, phone and fax numbers of people nearer to home that could
help them far more efficiently that I can. I tell them also about
MMD and the wealth of information in the MMD Archives.

Once in a blue moon someone has the courtesy to say, "Thank you"

What am I doing wrong?

Regards
Nigel Perry
