Hi All,  Recent postings here on the MMD by Jack Conway of Los Angeles,
Calif., bring to mind the recent good fortune of Jack at our last
meeting of Southern California Chapter of AMICA.  It was held at Jim
Wescott's home in Lompoc, Calif.  Jim and his wife are retiring so the
home and all the musical machines are for sale, including a number of
fairground organs.

To add a touch of excitement to the meeting, Jim had a free drawing
for a complete but non-working unknown brand organ from his collection.
The only condition was the winner could not immediately turn around and
sell it.

Jack Conway was the lucky winner.  We who know Jack know he will have
that organ up and running as soon as possible and add it to his
collection for all of us to enjoy.  Congratulations, Jack, and a big
thank you to Jim Wescott.
