Four Different Duo-Art Fan Expression Systems
By Bruce Grimes

There will be four different examples of the Duo-Art fan accordion
expression system to view and talk about at a workshop to be held
at the AMICA Annual Convention in Denver, Colorado, August 4-8, 2004.

Needed is a copy of the fan accordion with _only_ leaf springs,
_no_ wound springs like the standard system of the twenties has.
This leaf spring model is the one that appears to have been developed
for the above keyboard installations seen in several 1928 vintage
pianos.

If you have access to a copy of this model and can bring it, or get it
to the convention, this will probably by the only time since they were
in production they've all been assembled in one spot.

Also needed: the (production?) numbers off the end at the base of the
box. For example, 174, 176 stamped in 1/4-inch high numbers, or B1101,
1101a, etc in chalk, an well as any original Concertola numbers they
were collected with. Send info to Spencer Chase.
