Cloth "D"-ring Tabs for Music Rolls
By Bruce Clark

So far I have not had any problems with the plastic roll tabs, and I
dislike anything plastic, as sooner or later it will eventually fail.

Many years ago when, I had access to the Ampico Factory storage rooms,
I found a large box of cloth tabs with "D" rings. On the box label was
the name: "The Dennison Co." Dennison also made gummed labels, etc.
I'm not sure if that company is still in business, but perhaps that is
a start for Dave Saul, who makes the best replica Ampico rolls I have
ever seen!

[ Many years ago, I bought a "twenty year" supply of cloth D-ring tabs
[ from Play-Rite, made of brown-colored linen. Twenty years later
[ the unused tabs in the box were unserviceable: the linen had rotted!
