Mystery 14-Note Player Pipe Organ
By Craig Smith

Steve Cobb wrote about a Mystery 14-Note Player Pipe Organ in the
040831 MMDigest.

The lack of paper spools probably means that the organette plays
paper/cardboard strips. Although these little machines are usually
reed organs, I suppose that with a bigger air supply they would operate
well as a pipe organ. After all, we have many similar organs like the
Castlewood organ that operate on the same principle.

If Steve would send me a few pictures, I'd be glad to offer an opinion.
Steve might want to contact Todd and Walter also and perhaps get a copy
of Kevin McElhone's organette book to check.
