I missed the first part of the reverb question as to which Hammond
Cabinet was with the Hammond BA.  Hammond made several cabinets:
D models, HR models, PR40, and others.

Early cabinets had an oil reverb.  The springs were suspended in an
oil.  The later cabinets used a reverb that had the springs hanging in
nice loop, and last cabinets had the standard reverb still used today
in Fender guitar amps.  I have one PR40 in good condition in the
warehouse with the old loop type reverb (it is like the one used on
the Booker T and MG's famous cut of "Green Onions").

The other cabinets we typically have hauled off by anyone that will
take them, as there just is not a demand for the early Hammond Tone
Cabinet or for any other Hammond tone cabinet.  If the person with
the Hammond truly wants an early cabinet (and I would if I was in his
shoes) then just go to your local music stores (older ones) and start
asking about old Hammond tone cabinets.  They should let you have one
for nothing or, at least under $100.00.  There are tons of them out
there, every Hammond C or B model sold had one.  Today anyone looking
for a C or B Hammond usually wants a Leslie speaker.
