Criterion 15.5" Music Box Stolen in Danbury, Ohio
By Robbie Rhodes

A Criterion 15.5" music box was stolen from a home in Danbury, Ohio,
in a burglary on or after February 18, 2005. The owner describes it:

It has a oak case with Cherubs on the inter cover lid. The carved
trim foot on the right corner was repaired 20 years ago. The crank
was inside the box, and one disc. We think that this box is not
 very common.

Anyone with information please contact the Danbury Township Police
Department, attn. Lt. Cunningham, tel. 1-419-732-2549 or the owner,
John R. Rick, tel.: 1-954-746-5560 or 1-305-984-0923 (cell phone).

According to a newspaper article about the burglary, in the Port
Clinton "News Herald" dated Tuesday, March 15, 2005, two summer homes
were ransacked in mid-February and antiques and unusual items worth
thousands of dollars were taken. Danbury Township police chief
Mike Meisler said he believes the break-ins, which occurred between
Feb. 18 and 23, are related. The owners of both houses were not home
at the time of the break-ins, Meisler said.
