For years I've had what I consider a valuable use for old or torn piano
rolls.  I'd keep several of them handy so that when someone would come
in while I was working and bothered me, I'd just pretend that I was
totally p...ed off and to demonstrate this I'd grab one of these rolls
and start tearing it apart and shredding it.  And in general act as if
I had "lost it."

It could surprise you how fast come people can find their way out the
door at this.  Very useful for getting rid of uninvited "guests."
