Computer Translation Of Audio Recording To Disklavier

Today's New York Times has an interesting article in its Arts
section.  It describes in general terms some research going on
to have a computer "listen" to an audio recording of a solo
piano performance and create a simulation of that artist's
performance as played on a Disklavier piano.
