I guess I'll throw my two cents in while the topic of prices is hot on
this list.

A little over a year ago I had thirteen much-loved dinosaurs in my small
house.  I had a major life-style change a little over four months ago
and sold everything except my Chickering B Ampico and a top-loader
Ampico.  I sold my Steinway Duo-Art, Coinola, Reproduco, etc.  I made
enough money to put a down-payment on a terrific condo and I bought a
nice Mercedes for cash.

So my treasures served me well.  I enjoyed them while I had them, and
they served me better when I needed to change my life.  They were better
than savings.
