I am currently working on a short article on a Javanese dance
drama called Langendriya, and have read an article published in an
Indonesian newspaper, Hindia-Olanda 8 April 1893, that states that 
(in translation):

  'Mr. Behn, an instrument maker from Haarlem,' has fashioned an orgel
  [music box?] song of 'Langendrian', etc., based on Javanese music
  played at the Exposition Universelle in Paris [in 1889].  This orgel
  can cry out like a person and sing, a gong and bass drum also sound.

Can any reader know provide a brief description of Behn of Haarlem?
Do any of his works survive?
