I am trying to research the pre-1940s history of the B&B carousel on
Coney Island.  I have some unanswered questions about the band organ:

1. Was it original to the carousel?

2. When did Mangles import it, or _who_ imported it to the USA?

3. When did it arrive to the USA?

4. What is it's year of manufacture?

I recall seeing the paper book music inside of it in the late 1980s and
it looked almost like an accordion.  Was I seeing correctly?  About when
was it converted to play music rolls?  Any info is greatly appreciated.
