Aeolian Organ Roll Editing

Jim Crank's comments on 2005.9.22 MMDigest made me wonder: the 3-note
extensions on my organ certainly seem to work when I play the test
roll, and I'm sure I've played rolls that use them -- Archer Gibson's,
very likely.

The pedal octaves don't work, but I admit I haven't looked into the
console lately to find out why. I assumed something was broken, but
it never occurred to me that they weren't supposed to work. It's only
in recent years, when Charles Kegg started offering recuts, that I had
a test roll at all.

As a point of interest, my instrument is Aeolian-Skinner Op. 947, 1936.
Paul has been here and played it (I wish I had a recorder).
