Sending Money to Player Piano Group, London
By Julian Dyer

The simplest way to pay for small sums, such as subscriptions to
societies, is to send cash! Buying currency notes is simple and
much cheaper than buying bank drafts. With common-sense precautions
taken, I've never had any trouble this way, but even if the occasional
payment vanishes it'll still cost less than the bank drafts would have.

The Player Piano Group will accept cash payments in euros and US
dollars -- there's always someone going on holiday who's happy to
exchange the notes. We tried to set non-UK rates that can be paid
simply with a couple of notes, but changes in exchange rates upset
such calculations. We'll take two-year payments from overseas to
give greatest flexibility.

Current subscription rates are GBP12 in the UK, GBP12.50 for Europe
(about 18 euro) and GBP15 elsewhere (about USD26.50). It's hard to
see cost as a major reason for not joining!
