I am wondering if there is a way to determine what year a box was
produced.  I have one with the original receipt on the way that was
my grandmother's, but I have one other working and a non-working
one on the way and wanted to figure a date for them.

I contacted Reuge and was told I could not determine by any serial
number on the box (assuming it has one).  Any idea?
