Pirating music rolls has become a big business today.  It is called
roll scanning.  People scan rolls without credit, permission, or
royalties all in the name of "preservation."  If roll scanners were
truly interested in "saving the music," they would be recutting rolls
and restoring instruments authentically and properly.
